"Good clips, just a bit pricey"
I do like the clips and they’ve been useful, but the prices feel a little too high for what you get. Not bad overall, just wish it was a bit more affordable

"Lots of clips I don’t see on every other site"
I’ve been using Pond5 when I need footage that doesn’t feel like the same stock clips you see everywhere. For a small video project, I found some really specific shots that were actually perfect, and the quality was solid. The search can take a little digging, which is kind of ridiculous sometimes, but that’s also why I like it, there’s a lot more unique stuff buried in there. Overall, I’m happy with it.

I found the clip I needed, and... yeah, the format choices were right there, which was super helpful. It made things easy for my project, and I didn’t have to mess around with converting files or anything

"Payments have been reliable"
I’ve been using Pond5 for a while now, the payments just show up when they’re supposed to. Every month so far, no chasing anyone down, no random delays or anything like that. It’s kind of one of those things you don’t think about much until it goes wrong, so... yeah, nice not having to worry about it.

I purchased a clip on Pond5, the checkout process was smooth. The cart and payment steps were clear enough, and I didn’t run into any odd errors or unnecessary hassle, which I definitely appreciated. It did take me a minute to figure out where the download was after completing the payment, but it showed up in the end without any real issue. I hit up Pond5 whenever I need clips or music quick. The library is massive, kinda wild, but in a good way. I can usually find a few solid options for my project without scrolling forever. Overall, I’m happy with it.

"Changing my plan has been easy"
I’ve had a couple stretches where projects slowed down, and it was nice being able to switch my plan without making it a whole thing. So far there hasn’t been any weird hassle, which I appreciate. It’s just flexible enough to take some stress off when my workload changes.

I uploaded a batch of clips to pond5 it was a lot easier than I thought it would be. The forms were straightforward, and while tagging took a little time, it wasn’t confusing or frustrating.
Approval was fairly quick for me too. A couple of files needed minor fixes, but the notes were clear, so resubmitting wasn’t a big deal. One issue was definitely preventable on my end, but overall the process felt fair and not overcomplicated.

"Earnings have been kind of average lately"
I’m still getting sales here and there, maybe a few a week, but the payouts just feel a bit low overall. It’s not terrible, but I was expecting the earnings to be a little better by now.

"Good selection and easier to browse than most"
I’ve been happy with the music choices overall. There are a lot of tracks to pick from, and compared to a few other audio libraries I’ve tried, it’s much easier to actually find what I need without digging forever. Some of the sound effects do start to feel a bit repetitive after a while, but for music it’s been solid...

I ended up cancelling my order after placing it, and I was expecting the refund process to be a bit of a headache, like it sometimes is with online purchases. But it actually went really smoothly. The clips themselves are good. Downloaded without any trouble, all smooth there. But then I started thinking about the copyright side of things. Usage rights, what’s allowed, what isn’t… it still feels a little unclear to me. So yeah, good content, just wish that part felt more straightforward.
